ABOUT US
The Wichita Crime Commission was founded in 1952 to create a non-profit, non-partisan organization to fight the entrenchment of organized crime in the community. In 2019 the name was changed to the Wichita Metro Crime Commission to more accurately reflect the communities served.
The WMCC mission has also evolved, with today’s focus being on supporting law enforcement, fighting crime, and a strong commitment to youth.
